Champaign Police Investigate Bank Robbery

CHAMPAIGN - Champaign Police are asking for your help to help solve a bank robbery case.

Midland States Bank, 1617 W. Springfield Avenue in Champaign, was robbed at about 4:00 PM Friday afternoon.

Police say a suspect walked into the bank, demanded money, and was last seen running east from the bank.

The suspect is described as a black male, weighs approximately 150-180 pounds, and has an average build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes, yellow gloves with black palms, and an orange colored handkerchief covering part of his face. The suspect also carried a light blue drawstring bag.
