Effingham County Woman Ordered to State Psychiatric Care

TEUTOPOLIS - An Effingham County woman is ordered to stay under state psychiatric care, after she was found not guilty by reason of insanity, for trying to hire someone to kill her ex-boyfriend.

A Douglas County judge ruled 33 year-old Jennifer Inman is not ready to live in the outside world and must stay in a secure, mental-health setting, for at least six more months.

Inman was arrested back in 2013, for offering a man $10,000.00, to kill her ex-boyfriend.
