Average price for gasoline in Illinois reaches lowest point in more than 12 years

ILLINOIS - The average price for a gallon of gasoline in Illinois has hit its lowest point in more than 12 years, according to a news release from GasBuddy.com.

GasBuddy officials say Illinois is among nine states that are seeing the lowest average gas prices they've had since 2004.  Gas prices across central Illinois have also seen the decrease, with prices ranging from $1.31 to $1.60.
