Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum hosting volunteer orientation session

Posted: Updated:

SPRINGFIELD - Individuals who wish to volunteer at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum are invited to attend an orientation session on February 25.

The orientation session will be held in the library's Multi-Purpose Room from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  ALPLM officials say the session will acquaint participants with volunteer opportunities available at the library, and how they can enrich the experiences of visitors.

In addition to the orientation session, interested participants will be required to attend additional training sessions on March 10, March 16, and March 24.  If you would like to register for the orientation class, you are asked to call Director of Volunteer Services Jeremy Carrell at (217) 558-8872.
