JACKSONVILLE - The First National Bank of Arenzville has announced that a Jacksonville resident is the winner of the 2015 "Blue Diamond Community Service Award."

First National Bank President Kai Schnitker says Larry Speakman is the recipient of the award.  Speakman actively volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and Grace United Methodist Church, earning several awards from Habitat officials.

For winning the award, Speakman received a commemorative award statuette, and his name will be placed on an annually-updated plaque.

The Blue Diamond Community Service Award aims to recognize outstanding volunteer efforts.  Nominations for the award were open to any volunteers within the bank's service area.
