Georgetown man dies following crash in Vermilion County
VERMILION COUNTY - A central Illinois coroner is releasing the name of a Georgetown man who died after being involved in a crash on February 14.
Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup says Daniel Hoskins, 27, was pronounced dead at Carle Foundation Hospital at 4:02 p.m. Authorities say Hoskins was involved in a multiple-vehicle crash in Vermilion County.
Northrup also says an autopsy is scheduled for February 16, and that an inquest may be held at a later date. Hoskins' death is being investigated by the Vermilion County Sheriff's Office and Champaign County Coroner's Office.
