President Obama to Travel to Cuba

WASHINGTON D.C. - President Obama is going to Cuba.

Today, the White House is expected to announce the President will travel to Latin America next month.

Back in 2014, Cuban leader Raul Castro and President Obama announced the two countries would start to normalize relations after 50 years without diplomatic ties.

The administration would like to improve the relationship before the President leaves office.

The last sitting President to visit Cuba was Calvin Coolidge.
