BLOOMINGTON - The city of Bloomington is considering a $50-million dollar overhaul to their streets and sewer system, over the course of a five-year period.

It’s reported up to $30-million dollars of that would be spent to resurface the streets.

City Manager, David Halas will be presenting documents for a loan within the next two months.

The city will repay that loan with the 1-percent city portion of sales tax.

Work will begin in 2018.
