Decatur police investigating February 18 home invasion
DECATUR - The Decatur Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in a home invasion that happened on the city's east side on February 18.
Decatur police say the home invasion happened at about 7:55 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Condit Street. Authorities say three black males, possibly in their teens, forced their way into a home and battered a disabled elderly male.
Decatur police also say one of the suspects held a gun on the elderly male while another removed items from the home and the final suspect acted as a lookout. The suspected reported to have ran from the area on foot afterward.
