Local restaurants participating in second annual Chamber Restaurant Week

Posted:

DECATUR - More than a dozen local restaurants are scheduled to participate in the Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce's Second Annual Chamber Restaurant Week, from March 7 until March 13.

According to Chamber President Mirinda Rothrock, Chamber Restaurant Week encourages "the community to dine local during a month that is traditionally a slow time for the restaurant industry."  All participating restaurants, pubs, and cafes will offer 20 percent discounts on select food items with a minimum purchase of $10 for lunch, and $20 for dinner.

We've included a list of businesses participating in Chamber Restaurant Week below:

- Carrol Lou's BBQ
- Gabby's
- Paco's Sol Bistro
- University Dogs
- Anna Thai
- Decatur Club
- Garden Family
- Perkin's
- Whit's End
- Bizou
- Doherty's Pub & Pins
- Gin Mill
- Robbie's Grille
- Bob Evans
- Friendly's Bar & Grill
- Main Hangar
- Sports Zone

All participating businesses will have the chance to win a $500 grant from Richland Community College to improve the business.  Last year's winner was the Beach House, which used the award to improve wireless Internet connections within the building.
