Six Flags adds Virtual Reality to Roller Coasters

Posted:

NEW YORK - Six Flags has partnered with Samsung, to bring virtual reality to some of its roller coasters.

The theme park chain says it'll roll out virtual reality this spring, at nine of its properties. Six roller coasters will get a "New Revolution Virtual Reality" experience, while three others will get "Superman Virtual Reality".

Passengers will receive a Samsung Gear VR headset to wear during the ride, adding an extra sensory experience to the twists, turns and drops of the roller coaster.

All rides will have an age limit of 13 years and above.
