Letters To Lincoln Presentation

BLOOMINGTON- Dr. Douglas Wilson, an author and co-director of Lincoln studies at Knox college will present letters from long time law partner of the president, William Herndon.

Saturday, March 12 at 1:00 p.m. a recollection of  letters shared between law partners and friends, President Abe Lincoln and William Herndon will be discussed and shared at the McLean County Museum of History.

It has been said that Herndon knew Lincoln better than many of his confidants during his life. He published a book titled, "Herndon’s Lincoln: The True Story of a Great Life." The book has been called one of the most influential of all Lincoln Biographies.

The program will be held in the Museum's Governor Fifer Courtroom and is free to the public.
