Charleston Pawn Shop Targeted By Crime

CHARLESTON – The Charleston Police Department responded to a report of a break in at Real Deal Pawn and Gun at 227 State Street. Officers arrived and discovered evidence of a burglary on March 4.

According to the owner, several rifles had been removed from inside the business.

The suspect is a white male between 5’10” and 6’00 tall. He was described as wearing a red or orange coat with a hood who had his face covered. The Charleston Police ask that people “share” this post so that it reaches more people.

Information can also be left by contacting Coles County Crime Stoppers at 866-345-8488, and all reports made to Crime Stoppers are anonymous.
