ARTHUR- Since April 2015 the village of Arthur has been seeking out options to fix their water system.
The 100 year old system is falling apart. From non functioning water hydrants, to their non existent storm water system to potential environmental and health risks in the near future.
With help of a consultant the village found 2 options the best suit the village with the lack of cash reserves to fix the water infrastructure.
Aqua America is offering $5.6 million dollars for the villages system, many residents are concerned about the care and quality of the water with a corporate entity in charge.
