NOAA Weather Radio programming offered to central Illinois residents

CENTRAL ILLINOIS - The Macon County Emergency Management Agency has announced it will host a weather radio programming event in Decatur on March 10.

Macon County EMA officials say they will program NOAA Weather Radios free of charge from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Walgreens store at 420 West First Drive.  This event is being held in order to help residents with severe weather preparedness efforts.

If you do not own a NOAA Weather Radio, they will be available for purchase at the Walgreens location during this event.

Additionally, WAND's J.C. Fultz will help program NOAA Weather Radios at the Walgreens in Taylorville from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on March 10.
