LITCHFIELD- An event on April 23, is challenging students grades 4-12th to submit design projects honoring the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War.
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will be hosting a commemorative ceremony at the First Baptist Church in Litchfield ON April 23, 2016.
Apart of the ceremony is a chance for local students to create projects depicting their respect, honor and commemoration of those who served during Vietnam.
Some options for the projects include, out reach in the community, researching an aspect of the Vietnam war and any effort that showcases respect for veterans.
Veterans attending the event will be given a ballot to vote on the projects and monetary awards will be given out.
