Free Storm Spotter Training in Decatur

Decatur- A storm spotter class will be help today, Wednesday, March 16th at Richland Community College from 6:30 PM until 9 PM in the Schilling Auditorium. There is no cost and it the class is open to the public.

This course is designed to help you understand what to look for, what to report and how to safely observe storms. Storm spotter networks are an important part of the warning process. These men and women provide ground truth information to the National Weather Service to help in the decision making process.
