CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- Many across central Illinois woke up to snow falling early Sunday morning marking the start of spring.

For a brief period, the snow was able to accumulate before quickly melting as temperatures warmed into the 40s. Reports of the snow came in from Sullivan, Argenta, Oakley and a few other communities.

Meteorologist Adam Del Rosso says no additional snow is in the forecast the next seven days. In fact, by Tuesday afternoon, he says temperatures will be back into the 60s. Our next storm is set to bring rain showers by late Wednesday into Thursday.
