Warm March Could Lead To a Cool Start To April

Posted:

The latest 8-14 day temperatures outlook from the Climate Prediction Center is forecasting below normal temperatures from March 29th thru April 4th. This is a complete opposite to the first 20 days of March. WAND-TV Chief Meteorologist JC Fultz says the mean temp for the first 20 days of March was 47.8 degrees, which is +7.3 degrees above normal. Fultz says the warmest reading of 73 degrees was on March 15th and the coolest temperature of 17 degrees was recorded on March 2nd.

Looking ahead; The average high from March 29th thru April 4th is around 60 degrees with average lows in the upper 30s. Keep in mind, this doesn't mean that everyday will be cold or chilly but when averaged out temperatures are expected to be below normal during this time frame.
