Qik-N-EZ and Prairie Farms Partner with Central Illinois Food Bank

Posted:

Springfield - A partnership between the Central Illinois Food Bank, Qik-N-EZ gas stations, and Prairie Farms aims to help families in need to put milk on the table, and in the fridge.

Until June 1st at participating Qik-N-EZ stores, you'll receive $.50 off every gallon of Prairie Farms milk that you buy.

That $.50 will go to the Central Illinois Food Bank to help purchase milk for struggling families according to the organization's executive director.

"You're going to get $.50 off every gallon of milk and then the food bank will also get 50 cents for that purchase.  It absolutely adds up.  I've always said it takes the whole community to make this work.  What if a thousand people give 50 cents?  Or better yet, two or three thousand?  That really turns into quite a bit of money," said Pam Molitoris, CIFB executive director.
