Willard Airport hosting TSA screening enrollment event

Posted: Updated:

SAVOY - Central Illinois air travelers are being offered the opportunity to enroll in a popular expedited security screening program at Willard Airport in Savoy on April 25.

Officials say the TSAPre?® Program allows passengers to quickly proceed through airport security at 167 airports without removing footwear or presenting small containers of liquid, laptops, light outerwear, or belts for inspection.

This enrollment event will be held in the Willard Airport Cafe Conference Room from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Airport officials also say parking will be validated for all guests attending this event.

In order to complete the application process, each person will need to bring proof of identity and U.S. citizen documentation.  Fingerprints will also be collected, and the application fee will be $85 for five years of service.  The fee can be paid by credit card, money order, company check, or certified/cashier's check.  Personal checks and cash will not be accepted.
