Meth Related Arrests in Edgar County

PARIS – Edgar County Deputies make several Meth related arrests after receiving tips from the public.

The most recent was at a home on West Madison Avenue in Paris, Tuesday March 22.

Deputies received information there was meth and a meth lab at the home. Officers found two people inside and three small children. A meth lab was discovered inside along with meth smoking items and meth packaging items. Issac Burgess and Nicole Wilburn were taken to jail and the children into custody of DCFS.

Monday, March 21, deputies arrested 3 people at a home in Chrisman on West Madison Street after receiving information meth was being sold there. They found meth and meth packaging materials inside the home. Three people in the home were given notices to appear in court. 

 And Friday, March 18, Bryce Stiff was arrested after deputies received information meth was being sold from a home on Brown Street in Kansas. Deputies found a large amount of meth, meth packaging items, cash, and a stolen AR-15 rifle. Stiff was taken to the Edgar County Jail.

Authorities thank the community for providing tips that have led to arrests and more arrests are expected.
