University of Illinois Extension to Hold Food Service Sanitation Manager Course

CLINTON – University of Illinois Extension will teach the Food Service Sanitation Manager course. The course provides the minimum classroom work to prepare for the National Certificate Examination.

The Illinois Department of Public Health’s Food Service Sanitation Code requires food establishments to be under the operational supervision of a certified food service sanitation manager during hours of operation.

It will take place at the University of Extension of DeWitt County, located at 8425 Katie Road, in Clinton.

The classes are April 27 through the 29 from 9 AM-3PM.  It costs $115 and the exam date is May 17 at 9 AM and costs $40.

The $115 dollars covers the textbook, class materials and exam. Exam will be given on the second day of the course.
