C-U Porters' Club hosting fundraiser for Daily Bread Soup Kitchen

URBANA - The C-U Porters' Club is inviting central Illinois residents to attend the 2016 Champaign-Urbana Empty Bowls Annual Benefit and Raffle on April 6.

The benefit will be held from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Silvercreek Restaurant, located at 402 North Race Street in Urbana.  Tickets for this event are $25 for adults, and $10 for children ages 12 and under, and include a handcrafted bowl, gourmet soup, and bread.

Attendees will also be able to participate in a raffle of donated ceramic pieces, with all proceeds benefiting the Daily Bread Soup Kitchen and those in need in Urbana.
