DECATUR POLICE CRIME OF THE WEEK

DECATUR - Decatur Police need help in solving this week's crime of the week. On Wednesday, March 23rd, at about 10:30 am, a woman was robbed in the 700 block of West King Street. The victim was walking on the north side of the sidewalk when a man dressed in all black and wearing a ski mask approached with a handgun and took money from the victim. He is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old. 130-140 pounds and about 5 foot 3 inches tall. He ran from the scene northbound on the west side of 732 West King Street. Call Crimestoppers are 423-TIPS with information. You don't have to give your name and Crimestoppers will pay $500 dollars or more for information that leads to an arrest on the crime of the week.
