Trevor Compardo to Take Reigns of New Berlin Football Program

NEW BERLIN -- Pretzel alumnus Trevor Compardo is heading back to New Berlin, set to become the team's head football coach.

Compardo, who graduated from New Berlin in 1999, will be recommended to the school board at their April 7 meeting, New Berlin AD Megan Doerfler confirmed Friday.

Not long after graduating, Compardo served as an assistant at his alma mater, before taking an assistant job at Williamsville High School, where he's been the past eight seasons.

He'll take the place of Barry Creviston, who resigned after four years with the program after the 2015 season.

The Pretzels lost in the first round of the 2A playoffs in 2015, finishing the season with a 7-3 record.
