Illinois Moves Sunday Baseball Game, Now Part of Saturday Doubleheader


CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Illinois baseball team will play a doubleheader Saturday against Penn State with games beginning at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. due to inclement weather forecasted for Sunday. The Saturday game at 3 p.m. will be televised by Big Ten Network.

The opening contest of the three-game series is still set for tonight at 6 p.m. CT at Illinois Field.

The series was originally planned for a 3 p.m. game on Saturday and a noon matchup on Sunday.

All Illinois baseball home games will be free in 2016.
