SPRINGFIELD - Memorial Heart and Vascular Services is inviting central Illinois women to attend a free heart-health event on April 26.

This event will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Kerasotes branch of the Springfield YMCA.  First runner-up on NBC's "The Biggest Loser" Sonya Jones will be the featured speaker, and will speak on the topic of "Biggest Loser and Beyond - A Healthier Life."

The event will also offer attendees several ways to exercise and relax, such as chair yoga, pilates, hand massages, and more.  Additionally, refreshments will be served.

Admission is free and open to the public, but officials say reservations are recommended.  For more information, or to register, call (217) 788-3333 or click here.
