Central Illinois residents encouraged to attend CICBC blood drives

DECATUR - Macon County residents are being encouraged to attend one of two Central Illinois Community Blood Center drives being held in Decatur during the month of April.

Both blood drives will take place on April 13.  The first blood drive will be held at HSHS St. Mary's Hospital from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., while the second blood drive will be held at Decatur Memorial Hospital from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Eligible donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds.  Donors will need to present a photo I.D. in order to donate.  For more information on blood donor eligibility, call (800) 747-5401.
