Jersey Mike's Subs to donate all proceeds on March 30

SPRINGFIELD - One central Illinois sandwich shop has announced it will donate 100 percent of its sales on March 30 to a local charity.

According to a news release, Jersey Mike's Subs in Springfield will donate all money made from sales on March 30 to the Central Illinois Foodbank.  This fundraiser will last until the close of business at the chain's West Wabash location.

This "Day of Giving" is part of Jersey Mike's March "Month of Giving" fundraising campaign for the Central Illinois Foodbank.  Since its inception in 2010, the campaign has raised more than $14 million for local charities.
