Girl Scouts Arts Honoree Named

CHAMPAIGN----The 2016 Girl Scouts of Central Illinois Women of Distinction include a Centennial High School teacher.

Stacey Goss is the choice as honoree in the Creative Arts and Entertainment category. Goss is a National Board Certified Teacher. She teaches photography, graphic design, cinema studies, AP Studio Art, and dual credit classes. Goss also serves as Fine Arts Department Content Area Chair and the K-12 Visual Arts Coordinator for Champaign Unit School District 4. She is in her 22nd year at Centennial. Goss is a native of Quincy, Illinois.

Five women who have made standout contributions to the community in the areas of arts, business, education, public service STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and lifetime volunteerism will be recognized at an annual celebration on April 21 at CityView Banquet and Meeting Center in Champaign.
