Man arrested in connection with N. Mattis Avenue shooting in Champaign

CHAMPAIGN - A 31 year old man has been arrested in connection with the March 30 shooting on 2000 N. Mattis Avenue in Champaign.

Jeremy K. Robinson of Champaign was arrested and charged with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm. He was arrested without incident in the 600 Block of West Park in Urbana. Bond has been set at $500,000. 

Police were called to the Mattis North Apartments on March 30 after receiving multiple calls of gunshots being heard. When police arrived at the scene, they found a 31 year old man. The victim was transported to Carle Hospital with serious injuries.
