U of I Employees Credit Union takes on New Identity, Look

Posted: Updated:

CHAMPAIGN – The University of Illinois Employees Credit Union, now U of I Community Credit Union, is launching a new brand identity and look on Wednesday.

This change comes after near 85 years of serving the Champaign-Urbana community.

Beginning April 6, U of I Community Credit Union’s storefront signage will display its new name. In addition to that name change, the credit union is updating its look to reflect its “commitment to serving both the local community and the university for which it is named.”

“Our updated brand reflects who we serve today and how proud we are to be a part of this community,” CEO E.J. Donaghey explains.

The credit union is inviting the entire community to celebrate their updated look with a Shred-A-Palooza event on Saturday, April 23 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the First Street Branch.

Further information about the U of I Community Credit Union is available on the credit union’s website.
