U of I hosting several events around Earth Week 2016

URBANA - The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has announced it will host several events related to the environment before, during, and after Earth Week 2016.

Earth Week 2016 is being organized by Students for Environmental Concerns (SECS), and will be held from April 18 through April 22.  University officials say several events will be held leading up to and following Earth Week, including, but not limited to:

- An Illinois Climate Action Plan Forum
- A SECS Plant Sale and Environmental Expo
- A Campus Tree Walk
- A Student Sustainability Symposium

Additionally, a film screening, trivia night, art displays, music, and volunteer opportunities will be offered.  For a complete schedule of events, click here.
