Chez Wounded Veterans Center receives over $190,000 donation

CHAMPAIGN – Keller Williams Realty of Champaign has donated a check for $190,219 to the Chez Family Foundation for Wounded Veterans in Higher Education at the University of Illinois.

The Chez Family Foundation Center for Wounded Veterans in Higher Education provides programs and services to help veterans with disabilities transition from military to civilian life, obtain degrees and reach their maximum potential personally, academically and professionally.

Nearly $130,000 of the funds were raised during Keller Williams Realty’s fourth annual Cash Bash Gala on February 27. An additional $64,000 came from Keller Williams coaches and students from across the country as part of their “BOLD” training program.

Foundation Director Dr. Nicholas Osborne says he and his fellow administrators are grateful for those who invested time and resources to make this happen.

“The Center continues to grow and flourish because of these opportunities. Our number of wounded veterans receiving services is growing as is our presence nationally as a disability leader,” Osborne says.
