Frost Warning Tonight

Spring is not in the air tonight. Meteorologist Adam Del Rosso is predicting a Spring frost.

"All the trees and crops and anything new that was planted was tricked into thinking that it is Spring already. We are going to grow early, and obviously that is not the case and you can still get temps at or below freezing into April."

That cold weather could destroy flowers, wheat, and fruit trees.

"My advice would be to cover them up or bring them inside; anything to keep them away from those temperatures that are below 32 degrees and cause damage."

For farmers like Dave Brown, wheat helps bring in some extra cash.

"We are going to be waiting and looking out there Monday at all these fields to see exactly how much damage has been done."

Brown says corn farmers should not be affected by the frost.
