MAROA - The Illinois State Police is teaming up with U.S. Representative Rodney Davis and AT&T to teach Macon County high school students the dangers of distracted driving on April 11.

Officials say students are participating in the teaching program, titled "It Can Wait", which began at 10:00 a.m. at Maroa-Forsyth High School.

ISP officials say students will participate in a virtual reality simulation in order to experience the dangers of being distracted behind the wheel, including texting and driving.  Students will also take a pledge against distracted driving.
