Volunteer Clinic Leads Up To Habitat's Build Week

Posted:

CHAMPAIGN----Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County has announced that Habitat for Humanity and Lowe's are hosting a clinic for women volunteers.

The clinic is part of the ninth annual National Women Build Week, happening April 30 to May 8. National Women Build Week encourages women across the country to devote at least one day to help families build strength and stability through housing in local communities. The project supports "Home for the Holidays", which is a nationwide initiative by Lowe's and Habitat for Humanity to build or repair 1,000 homes alongside families in time for the holidays.

The "how-to" clinic is full, with more than 100 pre-registered participants. But if you are interested in volunteering for the local National Build event on May 6 and May 7, you can click HERE.
