Larry Austin, Jr. to Transfer from Xavier


Springfield - The college basketball season may be over for the year, but some big news regarding former Springfield Lanphier standout Larry Austin, Jr.

The former Lion announced that he will be transferring from Xavier.

The central Illinois product initially committed to Tennessee before going to Xavier following coaching changes.
In his time at the A-10 school, Austin played in 60 games, averaging 1.3 points per game, and playing a total of 334 minutes in his sophomore campaign.
Austin will have to sit out next season, but will still have two seasons of eligibility.

No word on where he plans to transfer to just yet.
