Its a Wrap for Ebertfest 2016

CHAMPAIGN - After five days and 12 films, Ebertfest comes to an end. The final movie shown was Body and Soul, a silent film from 1925.

A full orchestra performed throughout the screening. Festival attendees were lined up outside the door of the Virginia Theater, to get the best seats for the final show.

One couple we spoke with attended each showing this year and was pleased with the 2016 movie choices.  Eileen Kenneth tells us, "This year there has been a wide variety of films all of which we have enjoyed, as usual some more than others.  Everything has been entertaining a lot of powerful films. It's been a great fest."

The Kenneth's met while taking a class by Roger Ebert and soon after married. They have been attending Ebertfest for eleven years.
