World Red Cross Day Coming Soon

ILLINOIS----World Red Cross Day is coming up on May 8. That is when the local and global impact of Red Cross is celebrated.

And the Red Cross says the best way to celebrate is for eligible donors to make an appointment to give blood. Donors of all blood types are needed. Each day, the Red Cross needs to collect approximately 14,000 blood donations to meet the needs of patients.

Here in llinois, here are the upcoming places where you can donate blood:

PIATT

Monticello

5/2/2016: 12:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monticello First Christian Church, 1699 North State Street

MACON

Argenta

5/4/2016: 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., Argenta Oreana High School, 500 North Main Street

DECATUR

5/6/2016: 10 a.m. - 2:45 p.m., Macon County Court House, 253 East Wood Street

5/6/2016: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Millikin University Richards Treat Center, 1184 West Main Street

5/7/2016: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., First United Methodist Church, 201 West North Street

5/12/2016: 11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Lutheran School Association, 2001 E Mound Rd

5/12/2016: 12 p.m. - 6 p.m., Decatur Blood Donation Center, 2674 N. Main St

MOULTRIE

Sullivan

 

5/10/2016: 11:45 a.m. - 6 p.m., American Legion, 8 East Strain
