Watch For Road Work In Decatur

DECATUR---You will want to use extra caution this week on some roads in Decatur this week. Survey work will cause lane closures Wednesday on areas of MacArthur Road, Mound Road, Woodford Street, and East Faries Parkway.

Contractors will be working in the 3000 – 3100 blocks of MacArthur Road performing an indirect survey over 10 inch high pressure gas facilities for Ameren Illinois, beginning Wednesday, April 20, , weather permitting.  This work will cause lane closures in the 3000 – 3100 block of North MacArthur Road starting at 10: p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 to approximately 7:00 a.m. Thursday, April 21; and Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. to approximately 7:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2016.  Motorists should slow down, use extreme caution and be prepared for delays through the work zone. 

Mesa Contractors will be working in East Mound Road and North Woodford Street to West Mound Road and North MacArthur Road performing an indirect survey over 10 inch and 12 inch high pressure gas facilities for Ameren Illinois beginning Wednesday, April 20, 2016, weather permitting.  This work will cause lane closures in East Mound Road and North Woodford Street to West Mound Road and North MacArthur Road starting at 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 to approximately 7 a.m., Thursday, April 21, 2016, and again at 10:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2016 to approximately 7:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2016.  Motorists should slow down, use extreme caution and be prepared for delays through the work zone.
