St. John's Hospital to Host Organ and Tissue Donor Drive

Springfield- Deciding to become an organ and tissue donor if anything happens to you, is a big deal.  And to help you make the decision or just to learn more, HSHS St. John’s Hospital is holding a donor drive.

It’s Monday April 25th from 9 AM-3PM.  At ten in the morning, the hospital will have a variety of speakers including Jay Landers.

Landers’ son Ryan was rendered brain dead in after a car crash.  His decision to be an organ donor saved or improved the lives of 61 people in 12 different states.

In addition you can hear from a doctor, the donation coordinator for Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network and others.  Staff will also help you get signed up.
