Kendrick Nunn (right) appears in court with attorney Anthony Bruno Friday, March 18.
CHAMPAIGN -- Kendrick Nunn has a new date for a pre-trial hearing, but attorneys say they're hopeful to resolve the case before then.
Nunn appeared in court Wednesday morning, facing two counts of domestic battery. Nunn is accused of hitting a woman in her Champaign apartment on March 16. The junior guard for the Illinois men's basketball team remains suspended indefinitely from team activities.
Attorney Anthony Bruno told WAND Wednesday morning that they've been in "very productive talks" to resolve to case before it goes to a jury trial.
