ADM offering internships for Macon County high school science teachers

Posted: Updated:

DECATUR - Macon County high school science teachers are being encouraged to apply for an internship under ADM's Science Teacher Summer Fellowship.

Under this program, teachers will be able to work alongside the ADM scientific community to learn technique and real-world implications of theory, and to develop curriculum for their individual schools.

Participants will spend two-thirds of the six-week internship working alongside an ADM Researcher, with the final third of the internship being spent to develop a classroom experiment that engages students in sustainability, math, communications, and agricultural science.

The internships will be held at the James R. Randall Research Center in Decatur.  Applications must be submitted by April 29.
