Sunshine setting up in time for weekend

CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- After several rounds of storms this week, high pressure will slide across northern Illinois just in time for the weekend.

StormCenter17 Meteorologist Adam Del Rosso says to expect clearing throughout Friday allowing for some sunshine to end the week. He says plenty of sunshine will continue to rain down across central Illinois Saturday and Sunday too.

High temperatures start near 70 Saturday before jumping closer to 80 for Sunday.

Del Rosso says the next chance for an isolated storm holds until Monday.
