DECATUR – The Decatur Police Department and DEA will take back unwanted prescription drugs Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You can bring your expired pills or unwanted prescription drugs to the Decatur Police Department on West South Side Drive in a drive through drop off process. The event will not accept liquids, needles or sharps. Only pills or patches will be accepted.

This is the 11th opportunity in 6 years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused and unwanted prescription medications.
