CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- Low pressure exiting to our north means many in central Illinois will finally get a break from the rain Thursday.
However, Meteorologist Adam Del Rosso says a stray shower can't be ruled out along and north of I-74. Otherwise, he says we expect a mix of clouds and sun with seasonable highs near 70.
Del Rosso says that break continues into Friday before the next chances for showers and storms return this weekend. A warm front will lift into southern Illinois with scattered storms possible starting late Saturday morning.
