Gov. Rauner appoints new ALPLM Director

SPRINGFIELD - Governor Bruce Rauner has announced that a new Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum director has been selected.

In a news release, Governor Rauner announced that Alan C. Lowe has been selected to become ALPLM's new director.  Lowe previously served as Director of National Archives and Records Administration at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, as well as senior management analyst at the Office of Presidential Libraries.

Additionally, Governor Rauner announced that Carl Mito has been appointed to the Eastern Illinois University Board of Trustees.  Mito is an EIU alumnus, and worked with the School of Business to establish a foundation that provides support to students.
