Cameron Leff was virtually unknown to other members of the Decatur-area baseball community before last season, and it was for good reason: He and his family had just moved to Mt. Zion from Wichita, Kansas.

Leff, a pitcher/outfielder, will now take his game west on I-72 to play for head coach Chris Ramirez at Division II Illinois-Springfield, and on Friday afternoon Leff was joined by his parents and his coach Matt Smith to celebrate the signing.
